If you'd like to double-check, measure your dog's chest at the widest point (just behind the front legs) and compare it to the size chart. Still not sure? Email us at hello@pawsomepal.com.au with whatever you have — your dog's breed, weight, a photo, or even just a description. We'll recommend the right size. If it's a gift and you don't have measurements, that's fine too — just tell us the breed and we'll point you in the right direction.

Go with the larger size. The harness is adjustable at both the neck and chest, so you can always tighten it down. Sizing up gives your dog a bit more room to move comfortably without the harness sitting too tight.

Hand wash only in cold water with mild soap, then air dry flat. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying as this can damage the fabric and padding. A gentle scrub with a soft brush works well for any stubborn dirt.

Yes! Our harnesses start from size XXS and the adjustable neck and chest straps mean you can tighten the fit as needed. The harness wraps around your dog's body rather than putting pressure on the neck, so it's a safer and more comfortable option for puppies who are still learning to walk on a lead.

The front D-ring is also great for training - it gently redirects your puppy back towards you when they pull, helping them learn loose-lead walking early.
